In the context of preparations for the 2024 Olympics to be held in Paris, the French city of Lyon hosted Consular celebrations dedicated this year to the Olympics and Sports.
Consulates of different countries and associations of diaspora communities in the Lyon region presented the culture and sports of their home countries.
The posters of our Underdog Ukraine team were exhibited at the stand of the Lyon-Ukraine Association. A series of artworks called “Country of Heroes” showcases outstanding Ukrainian athletes, including Olympic champions and medalists, as Superheroes.
The artworks feature such athletes as Zhan Beleniuk, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Andriy Shevchenko, and Elina Svitolina. The posters also emphasize the contribution of athletes to helping the Ukrainian people during the war against Russia.
Interestingly, the superhero artworks were produced by artificial intelligence software. This is how the AI sees Ukrainians. And our artists have added a final touch and perfection to the works.
